GUNNS NEW ZEALAND

Gunns New Zealand - based in Christchurch the main centre of the South Island of New Zealand,
close to Lyttelton the South Island’s main export port. The majority of our log resource is sourced from FSC certified forest. Our primary export product is New Zealand Pine Veneer.

Our New Zealand operation currently produces 5,300,000m2 of finished New Zealand Pine Veneers on an annual basis, of which 95% is exported.

New Zealand PineVeneer yields a strong, versatile, light coloured veneer ideally suited to furniture manufacturing. The product’s even texture allows it to be stained to look like other species and to accept clear finishes evenly. This enables our wood veneers to be used in a wide range of furniture styles and design.

Our selection process demands the highest graded log available in New Zealand. We pride ourselves on producing high quality wood veneers, this is attained through a robust in house quality system, with checks and measures taken throughout the various stages of our operation.
